Our Policies
Our PoliciesOur focus on responsible operations remains essential to our everyday business. We have policies to communicate our commitment, business practice, and overall expectations within our company, internally and externally. These policies are evaluated regularly to ensure they continue to reflect our goals, the needs of our partners, and the state of our industry.
Animal Welfare
At Greater Omaha, we have developed a systematic approach to animal welfare by the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. It is our mission and ethical obligation to continue our steadfast stewardship of the earth and its resources, including proper care of the cattle our business is reliant on. We hand-pick our cattle based on our quality standards and the overall well-being of the animals prior to arriving at our facility; at which point we maintain proper handling and safeguards to minimize distress and injury as suggested by Dr. Temple Grandin.
